讲座简介：

社会资本约束了机会主义行为，并促进了双边关系中的合作（Coleman 1988；Guiso 2010）。假设与具有高社会资本的客户进行业务往来的公司被其银行认为具有较低的供应链风险，并发现了供应商贷款利差与其主要客户社会资本之间的负相关关系。横截面分析表明，当出现以下情况时，负相关关系更为明显：（1）供应商进行更多重要的关系特定投资或议价能力较弱。（2）客户所在行业信息环境相对更不透明。（3）客户公司遇到负面冲击。进一步表明，客户的社会资本对供应商公司享受的非价格贷款条款有积极影响。综上所述，供应商通过获得较低的借款成本和更有利的非价格贷款条款，从客户的社会资本正外部性中获益。

      Social capital constrains opportunistic behavior and facilitates cooperation in bilateral relationships (Coleman 1988; Guiso 2010). We hypothesize that firms conducting business with high social capital customers are perceived by their banks as having lower supply chain risk and document a negative association between suppliers’ loan spreads and their major customers’social capital. Our cross-sectional analyses show that the negative association is stronger when: (1)suppliers make more significant relationship-specific investments or have weaker bargaining power. (2)customers operate in industries characterized by relatively more opaque information environments. (3)customer firms encounter negative shocks. Further analyses reveal that customers’social capital has a positive impact on the non-pricing loan terms enjoyed by supplier firms. Taken together, our findings indicate that suppliers reap the benefits from the positive externalities of their customers’social capital by obtaining a lower cost of borrowing and more favorable non-pricing loan terms.

        主讲人简介：

       李星，副教授，管理学与会计学博士，入选西安交通大学青年优秀人才（A类）计划。国际注册会计师（ACCA，未执业）。主要研究方向为资本流动与定价、财会管控与治理等。先后于西安交通大学（2014年，ACCA专业）、西安交通大学（2020年、工商管理专业）和香港城市大学（2020年、会计学专业）获得管理学学士、管理学博士和会计学哲学博士学位。已在国际会计学顶级期刊Contemporary Accounting Research、国内管理学权威期刊如《系统工程理论与实践》《管理科学》《管理工程学报》等平台发表文章10余篇。主持国家自然科学基金1项，中国博士后科学基金1项，教育部产学合作协同育人项目1项。获陕西省高等学校科学技术成果奖特等奖。博士学位论文获得香港城市大学杰出学位论文奖。获西安交通大学本科教学评价优秀奖。
